I was enthralled with the stories, even if half of them turned out to be fictional.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAnd Eastern NC is Pirate Country!\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eHelp me bring some of that spirit back, with a NEW KIND OF BOOTY: premium hotdogs and brats!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI have years of experience in food, in particular street food. I’m ready to bring that experience to tubed meat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eBut I’m not interested in being ‘just another hotdog cart.’\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eYou know me better than that!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI abhor the norm!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI promise you the experience will be fun and flavorful, and I will bring you the best sausage I can find. If I can find that locally, awesome! If not, I’ll ship it in!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI have no desire to please everyone, because that’s impossible. But if you believe life is too short for mediocre sausage, then Cpt. Teach’s is gonna be for you!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI assure you, I’ll probably be the most expensive sausage in town. There are too many already trying to be the cheapest. I’ll not be joining them. I’m a Pirate, after all…\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eMy plan, at the moment, is to find ONE excellent hotdog (probably no casing, because that’s what most Carolinians want), and then to rotate the brats frequently, to give y’all a choice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eToppings are gonna be limited, because I want quality, not quantity. There will be chili, and onions, mustard, ketchup, and slaw, because they’re standards. I will probably introduce some of my infamous BBQ sauces as well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2 class=\"p1\"\u003eHow do I cook them?\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThey’ll be boiled in what the NY’ers call Dirty Water. I’m gonna call it Brackish Water, I think…\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003e    WTF is that?\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIt is a supersaturated water with seasonings and bouillon. This keeps the sausage from losing its flavor and color while boiling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThen they will be held in the Brackish Water until you order one, or twenty.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThey’ll spend a minute or two blistering on the grill, alongside a steamed bun, before adding the toppings of your choice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThen it’s Pirate Feast Time!\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2 class=\"p1\"\u003eWhere Will I Serve?\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI plan to experiment with spots in the general public, between Greenville, Washington, and New Bern.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI’ll also be looking for gigs at factories, medical facilities, car lots, you name it, as well as private catering for corporate, organizational, and residential events.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIf you have connections there, please let me know!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch1 class=\"p1\"\u003eI NEED YOUR HELP!\u003c\/h1\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eWhile hot dog vending is one of the cheapest ways to break into the food business, it’s not free. There are startup expenses: The cart itself, licenses, insurance, other equipment, and the dogs n buns, of course.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI have decided I’m gonna build the cart, myself. Mainly, because I want it to resemble a Pirate ship, and to function precisely the way I want it to.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIt will be the most original cart you’ve ever seen, and will transport you to the pirate days of old!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eBut the biggest expense, for me, is a TRUCK to pull the cart.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eSome of you know that in June of this year, I was in a motorcycle accident. I managed to leave a bunch of skin on the highway, and break my left shoulder pretty good. I’m still recovering, but it’s time to get back to work on something.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI don’t really want to ride the scooter anymore, and even when I’m able to, I’d rather not. Plus, it won’t pull the hotdog cart, or carry all the stuff needed to run it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI can probably get a used truck for under $5000, maybe even under $3000, but then I need insurance on it as well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI would love to have you come along for the ride!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI’ve come up with some levels of support, and a token of my gratitude for them.
